Chere is
one of the woredas in the Sidama Region, bordered on the south by Aroresa, on
the west by Bensa, and on the north and east by the Oromia Region. Chere was
separated from the Aroresa woreda. We own two wet mills in this coffee-growing
area, namely Gubo and Tuficho wet mills. Chere, which has an elevation of
1,900–2,100 meters above sea level, produces coffees with notes of nuts, dry
fruits, and wine.
